Silvia Trejos - Consultant / Mentor

Silvia is a human resources and business professional with over 20 years of experience in international leadership, supporting businesses in Central America, the Caribbean and South America. She has held various management positions in the areas of human resources and operations at multinational companies such as Amazon, DHL, Clorox and Price Waterhouse.

Silvia holds a Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineering and an M.B.A. with a specialization in Human Resources. She is an Executive Coach certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

In working with leaders, she serves as a business partner, understanding business and employee needs, and playing a fundamental role in creating and implementing strategies. She has successfully led key change processes involving merging and acquiring companies, restructuring departments to guarantee business success, and supporting continuous, exponential growth.

She has a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting talent development, women's empowerment in leadership positions to help bridge the gender gap, and motivating teams to deliver stellar results while building their strengths.

At DHL and Amazon, Silvia participated in and delivered training sessions and workshops on leadership, diversity, inclusion, mentoring and coaching, and became a lead facilitator for Amazon's Women's Leadership Program.

Following 24 years in leadership positions in the areas of human resources and operations at multinational companies, Silvia decided to put her corporate career on hold and became certified as an Executive Coach. She has been working as an independent consultant in matters related to human resources, and as a coach and mentor since August 2021.
