Laura Acuña - Assistant

She has lived her entire life in Costa Rica. Originally from Guápiles, a city close to San José on the way to the Limón province (Caribbean), which is lush with its tropical landscape. Laura loves nature and her family: she is the mother of Eliana and the wife of Jorge.

Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from the University of Costa Rica, from which she graduated with honors. She has been characterized by her commitment to service throughout her life, which took her to Honduras at the age of 24, to work as a volunteer missionary in El Suyatal, a rural community with limited resources.

Later, she practiced her nutrition career in the food service of the Costa Rican Oil Refinery.

Becoming a mother and wife led her to a professional reinvention that resulted in her joining a market research firm. Laura helped multiple private companies and non-governmental organizations raise their customer service standards through her work at the firm, where she worked for almost a decade. She has participated in various projects, studies, and initiatives, taking on roles such as assistance, mystery shopping, interviewer, participant in focus groups, among others.

Laura is a community leader who seeks continuous improvement, constant learning, and has dedicated most of her free time to various causes she is passionate about: supporting youth and children (ages 6 to 9) as an instructor in comprehensive development programs.

She participates in the board of the Alas de Vida foundation.

At Ligia Olvera Coaching Latin America, Laura provides logistical and administrative support in the customer service and sales area.
